【Abstract】 "Path "is the direction or the route of a moving object and it is one of the most important concepts constituting a motion event, and different languages have different lexicalization patterns of motion verbs.This paper intends to investigate how path concept is expressed in Chinese by analyzing its lexicalization pattern andthe specialities of Chinese path-verbs.
