【Abstract】 Informational Ship Management is an important measure to improve the ship safety management level. The article makes an introduction of the main problems of chemical ship safety management. The functionsof SMIS that is short of Ship Management Information System which concludes maintenance, inspection, oil consumption and the monitoring and evaluation of equipments.
