【摘要】 本文通过对有中国特色缩略语和高度凝练汉语的翻译,探讨汉英同声传译过程中准确理解原语和有效传递讲者信息之间的关系。研究表明,译者在同传过程中的理解与表达具有二元性,有效传递信息不仅需要透彻理会讲者话语含义,把握语境,表达时还要充分考虑受众的语言文化、知识背景。译者只有将对原语的理解构建在听众理解的基础上才能充分达意,实现交流双方的顺畅沟通。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper attempts to address the relationship between source languageunderstanding and effective delivery of meaning during the process of Chinese-English simultaneous interpreting.Through the analysis of the data collected from authentic interpreting events of "highly condensed Chinese utterances" and "terms with Chinese characteristics",the author suggests that interpreter should take into consideration not only the textual meaning of the discourse but also the context of such utterances in order to understand the source language precisely.Accordingly,interpreter’s delivery of meaning of the speaker’s utterances should be based on perceptions of the target audience.Only in this way can the speaker and the audience communicate effectively and successfully.更多还原
