【Abstract】 In order to meet the requirements of "Education and Training Program of Excellent Engineer" which was launched by ministry of education, it is necessary to carry out effective teaching reforms on the course of engineering mechanics, with the aim of cultivating talents of high quality engineering technology. In this paper, the reform of teaching content, optimization of teaching methods, teaching requirements adjustment and practice teaching activity were discussed.
