【Abstract】 To change the students’silence that exists in classroom teaching for the English major in local universities,the teacher should correctly understand the classroom silence of student,actively create the relaxing and harmonious teaching environment,set the appropriate learning task to help the student actively participate in the classroom interaction;the student should establish the correct learning concept and the positive self-concept and actively participation in the classroom interaction;the education authorities should increase the investment in the teaching facilities of the major of English at the local college to provide a good teaching environment for students.更多还原
