【Abstract】 Engineering geology is closely related with rock and soil mechanics and other disciplines. In the practice of teaching, the authors have found that students have the understanding blind spot between engineering geology and other related disciplines as rock and soil mechanics. It is proposed that the traditional geological thinking methodology, like natural history analysis method, should be strengthened in the teaching of engineering geology. Thus, the ability of students’ asking, analyzing, and solving problems in the practical engineering should be improved by using the basic principles of engineering geology.更多还原
