【Abstract】 As a tool of language communication,translation involves lots of cultural factors which influence the accurate conveying of source language information. To some extent,translation of language is actually the exchange of cultures. This paper,in view of the relationship between translation and culture,elaborates the restriction of culture on translation,the role of translation in transmitting culture,and the influence of native language culture on translation activities. With the support of the analysis of questionnaires made on the ability of some English teachers and learners to express their native culture in English,this paper proposes that one’s native language culture plays an indispensible role in the communicative translating activity.更多还原
