【摘要】 英语弱读部分一直是英语语音教学的薄弱环节。学生得不到足够、有效的英语弱读输入是造成这一现象不容忽视的原因。小说《白牙》中的人物对白忠实的反映了英语母语者日常对话时自然的语速与发音方式。小说篇幅较长,弱读语料丰富,弱读式的复现频率高,基于二语习得理论中的频率效应,小说《白牙》作为英语弱读教学的辅助材料,可以加强学生对弱读的理解和掌握。更多还原

【Abstract】 Due to the lack of adequate and effective input, the teaching of reduced forms in English phonetics has been a weak point for a long time in China. The dialogues of the characters in White Fang faithfully reflect English native speakers’ way of speaking i.e. to use a lot of reduced forms in order to keep the natural speaking speed in authentic daily talks. Based on frequency effects in the theory of second language acquisition, White Fang can be selected as a kind of very effective additional teaching ma terial in teaching reduced forms to improve students’ understanding and grasping English reduced forms for its length, the plenti ful reduced forms in its dialogues and high rate of repetition of the reduced forms in its context.更多还原
