【Abstract】 Cohesion is an essential condition for the creation of text,which is also an important means to achieve coherence in text.Based on the cohesion theory proposed by Halliday and Hasan,this paper offers a comparative analysis of Mo Yan’s Nobel lecture"storytellers"and its English version. In view of similarities and differences between Chinese and English cohesive devices,the translation should vary with texts in order to be faithful to the original information.更多还原
