Effect of MnO and Na2CO3 contents on melting temperature and viscosity of BF slag was measured by analytical reagents based on low temperature iron-making technique,and then mineral phases of cooling slag were analyzed by XRD.Results show that MnO can promote the generation of lots of aluminium-melilite and akermanite of slag and some complex compounds of manganese,which can effectively reduce the melting temperature and viscosity of the slag.When MnO content is about 2.0%,the viscosity of BF slag is close ...
