POE-g-MAH对乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物的增韧作用

【摘要】 利用乙烯-辛烯共聚物接枝马来酸酐(POE-g-MAH)对乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH)进行反应性接枝共混改性,制备出具有良好韧性的EVOH/POE-g-MAH共混物,并通过红外光谱(FT-IR)、热重分析(TG)、扫描电镜(SEM)和力学性能测试研究了共混物的结构与性能关系。研究发现,POE-g-MAH对EVOH有反应性增韧作用,且当POE-g-MAH/EVOH质量比为20/80时,共混体系的冲击强度较EVOH提高了约14倍,共混体系发生了明显的脆韧转变;随着POE-g-MAH用量的增加,共混体系的热稳定性亦得到提高。

【Abstract】 Poly(ethylene-co-vinyl alcohol)(EVOH) possesses good barrier properties,but the high crystallinity makes it hard to process.The EVOH/POE-g-MAH blends were prepared using maleic anhydride grafted ethylene-octene copolymer(POE-g-MAH) as toughening material.The structure,mechanical properties and thermal properties of the blends were studied and the morphological structures of the impact fractures were investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results show that POE-g-MAH can effectively improve the toughness of EVOH.When blended with 20% POE-g-MAH,the impact strength of blend increases nearly 14 times.After the reactive compatibilization of maleic anhydride,the blends are compatible,and the thermal stability of EVOH is also improved.
