Fragmented Narrative of Modern Novel
【Abstract】 Human is inherently broken. The most qualitative understanding of human being and life is based on this defect. Human soul is actually characterized by this defect but not its perfect condition. Literature is an art of soul, and it needs a fragmentation process to enter and express the soul of human being. The world which literature wants to seek or enter is indistinct, unknown and dim, and can’t be formed. This world is full of metaphysical inquiry of spirit. Experience and known facts can certainly become common view, however, this is not common but isolate and individualistic phenomenon, and cannot be applied to others. In this sense, physical things are fragmental, and fragmental things are defective. Fragmentation must be presented by spiritual way and is actually spiritual.
