【Abstract】 From Ming Dynasty to the Period of Republic of China,Fuyang city became the hub of long-distance traffic and commodity circulation because of its superior geographical condition and convenient water-borne and land transportation,which impacted greatly on the commercial development in this area.During that time,many foreign businessmen from other districts came here to run business and establish guilds.Therefore the banking industry is relatively prosperous.Being the effective way to promote development of commerce,fair trade got rapid progress.Besides,local government and folk force played a significant role in maintaining and improving transportation.However,there are also other objective factors limiting the development of transportation and commerce.更多还原
