【Abstract】 Archive donations from universities are donated by college personnel or units; they are historical records which reflect the universities’ teaching, scientific research, important events and day-to-day affairs by paper, magnetic media, CD-ROM and other media carrier. Archive donations are important to archive management in universities. This paper describes the meaning and usefulness of universities’ reception and management of archive donations.
