【Abstract】 Ancient Greek mythology describes so much about the social life of ancient Greece.Many different female characters in it show how women’s role in society changes from dominating goddess to appendix to the men.This paper believes the transition process is that the women turn into man’s families(wives or daughters) from supreme goddess,then to men’s property.When social history develops from the matriarchal society to patriarchal era,women’s social role begins to change from manipulating to being manipulated.更多还原
