【Abstract】 Recent progress with respect to research work for whitening potential of plant extracts was summarized. Discussion about advantages and disadvantages of four different assessment methods for whitening potential of plant extracts,namely mushroom tyrosinase inhibition test,cell level test,zooperal and computer simulation assay were focused. Some kinds of plant extract with whitening potential that discovered in recent years were induced. Finally,the future trends for research work with respect to development of plant extracts with whitening potential were prospected.更多还原
