高斯小波在低对比度目标识别中的应用研究

【摘要】 应用光电混合联合变换相关器对复杂背景低对比度目标进行探测识别时,物面图像不作任何处理根本无法获得相关峰,无法实现目标探测识别的目的。为此提出在物面应用高斯小波模极大法处理技术,有效抑制了背景噪声的干扰,提高了有用信息量的衍射,从而提高了应用联合变换相关器对复杂背景低对比度目标进行探测识别的能力。实验证明对于对比度高于6%的复杂背景目标经高斯小波处理后,获得的相关峰对比度较处理前相关峰对比度能达到百分之百的增强效果。文中给出了雾天汽车处理前后的实验结果,有力地证明了该方法的有效性。

【Abstract】 When optical hybrid joint transform correlator is used to detect and recognize targets with low contrast,correlation peaks can not be obtained if target image is not processed.Thus,the aim of target recognition can not be realized.So the method of Gauss wavelet with maximum module is presented in target image plane,which can suppress the interference of background noise effectively and enhance the diffraction of useful information.The ability of joint transform correlator to detect and recognize targets with low contrast and fluttered background is thus improved.Experiments show that the contrast of correlation peaks can be enhanced to a great extent after being processed by Gauss wavelet in target image plane,as to the target image with fluttered background whose contrast is higher than 6%.In this paper,the experimental results of processed car in foggy days are given,which proves the effectiveness of the method.
