纤维含量对长玻纤增强聚丙烯注塑制品性能影响

【摘要】 制备了不同纤维含量长玻纤增强聚丙烯注塑试样,测量了试样不同位置处的玻纤长度,通过金相显微镜观测了长玻纤的分布,研究了玻纤含量对复合材料力学性能的影响,同时对长玻纤注射成型的制品进行数值模拟。微观试验观测发现,纤维含量的增加使得长纤维的断裂加剧,同时增加了纤维在制品内的团聚。宏观性能测试发现,高纤维含量增加了复合材料的力学性能,试验范围内试样的冲击强度最多增加了6倍。最后,比较了模拟结果与试验结果的变化趋势。

【Abstract】 Long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene(LGFR–PP) injection molded parts were made by different fiber contents.The fiber average length of selected locations of different fiber content injection molded part was measurement by self made platform and the dispersity of long glass fiber was observed by metallographic microscope.The effects of fiber content on the mechanical properties of the composites were studied.The numerical simulation for LGFR–PP injection molding process was done by simulationg software.The micro-morphology results show that higher fiber content increases breakage and the probability of the fiber aggregation in the products.Macro-properties show that higher fiber content increases the mechanical properties of composites with maximum impact strength increasing seven times.The change trend of simulation was compared with that of experiment.
