【Abstract】 This paper introduces the basic framework of Japanese food technology standard system. It includes some system characteristics such as setting bodies, division of labor and legal basis for Japanese food standards, composition and main characteristics of standard, setting object and process of standard, convergence of JAS standard and international standard.
