【Abstract】 Language chunks are the language units which are stored,extracted and used as a whole by language users.The chunk "monosyllabic Verb+NP" is constituted of a monosyllabic verb and a noun phrase and it is derived mainly through three paths:derivation from allusions or proverbs;chunklization of phrase;expansion of typical collocation.The derivation of the chunk "monosyllabic Verb+NP" is also constrained by high frequency of co-occurrence and idiom principle.更多还原
