【Abstract】 Japan is the world’s major fishing country.This article described Japan’s fishery production,fishery resources,the status of fisheries in the national economy,fishery management as well as fishery labor and operating conditions.Marine fishing is a primary sector in Japanese fisheries.Due to the global recession of fishery resources,increasing international competition and Japan’s sustained economic downturn,Japanese fisheries showed a substantial downward trend and great pressure to industrial restructuring after the heyday of 1980s.更多还原
