【Abstract】 With the reform of English teaching reform in our country,more and more attention is paid to the application of meta-cognition to the practice of reading teaching.On the basis of the "SBI teaching mode" brought forth by Weaver and Cohen,the author conducted a research lasting a term on freshmen of English majors about meta-cognition tactics so as to enhance their independent reading capability.Results show that the training of mega-cognition tactics is conducive to enhancing students’ using level of mega-cognition tactics and lifting their independent reading capability.更多还原
