聚甲基丙烯酸丁酯热稳定性研究
Thermal Stability of Poly(Butyl Methacrylate)
【摘要】 以聚乙烯醇(PVA)为分散剂、过氧化苯甲酰(BPO)为引发剂,采用悬浮聚合法合成甲基丙烯酸丁酯(BMA)和苯乙烯(St)的共聚物P(BMA-St)。利用傅里叶红外光谱仪、核磁共振波谱仪、热失重分析仪对产品化学结构进行表征。研究了St加入量对聚甲基丙烯酸丁酯(PBMA)热稳定性的影响。采用Kissinger热分解动力学模型对BMA和含质量分数40%St的P(BMA-St)进行研究,结果显示:P(BMA-St)在空气和氮气气氛下的反应活化能(E)分别为97.914,107.325kJ/mol,而PBMA在空气气氛和氮气气氛下的E分别为61.543,76.992kJ/mol,可见St的加入提高了PBMA的热稳定性。
【Abstract】 Butyl methacrylate-styrene copolymers P(BMA-St) were synthesized by suspension polymerization process with polyvinyl alcohol as dispersant and benzoyl peroxide as initiator.The chemical structure of the copolymers was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry(FTIR),nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(NMR) and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) instrument.The effects of styrene content on the thermal stability of PBMA were investigated.The Kissinger model was used to analysis the thermal decomposition kinetics of PBMA and P(BMA-St) containing 40%St,and the results indicate that the activation energies of P(BMA-St) are 97.914 kJ/mol in air and 107.325 kJ/mol in nitrogen respectively,while the values of PBMA are 61.543 kJ/mol in air and 76.992 kJ/mol in nitrogen.It is clear that the addition of styrene can enhance the thermal stability of PBMA.
