【Abstract】 This paper discusses the growing demand for higher vocational education in China,and its impact on teacher development,with the special focus on developing college English teachers’ dual competences in academia and industry.Based on an analysis of the predicament that college English teachers are in at present,the paper expounds on ways of teacher professional development in higher vocational education:(1) accumulating experience in enterprises,(2) increasing professional knowledge,and(3) cooperating with other teachers and professionals.更多还原
