【摘要】 网格是把地理位置上分散的资源集成起来的一种基础设施。传统意义上的网格资源通常包括计算资源、存储资源、数据资源、信息资源、知识资源等,并且认为网络有足够的传输能力,能够为网格应用之间的数据传输提供足够的带宽资源。因此,传统的网格把网络看作数据传输媒介,而并没有将它作为一种可控制的资源提供给用户。对于数据密集型的网格应用,这时网络就成为一种数据传输瓶颈。这里提出了一个基于MDS4的网格网络模型,把网络抽象为资源,为用户提供按需的服务。更多还原

【Abstract】 The grid is an infrastructure to integrate geographically dispersed resources.The traditional grid resources usually include computing resources,storage resources,data resources,information resources and knowledge resources.And it is believed that the network has sufficient transmission capacity to provide sufficient bandwidth for data transmission between the grid resources.Therefore,the traditional grid takes the network as data transmission media instead of as the controllable resources for users.For data-intensive grid applications,the network becomes a bottleneck of data transmission.This paper presents a model of grid network as the resource based on MDS4,which abstracts the network as the resource and provide on-demand service for users.更多还原
