Based on summarizing the current status of the intangible cultural heritage protection by the library and the practice of the project named 'shadow play digital museum',this paper proposes the principles,contents and methods of characteristic resource building for the intangible cultural heritage.As a novel idea,the content and the technical framework of the digital museum was explained in details.
