【Abstract】 Today,the relationship between the European Union and China is steady and of major importance. Though it is not in an ideal situation for both sides, entailing a progressive development from 1995—2005,recent years have witnessed a number of shocking setbacks. As the world is embracing a more challenging future after the serious world economic and financial crisis,and in view of the new foreign policy system covered in the Lisbon treaty is taking shape,it is time most appropriate for the EU and China to engage in a more serious and advanced dialogue right now so as to contribute to a possible revitalising of this important relationship.In this paper,the author is trying to identify the EU’s place in Chinese foreign policy framework in the past,assess the development of bilateral relations,outline the priorities in China’s EU policy,and make a framework of China’s strategy towards the EU.更多还原
