【Abstract】 Chief Justice John Marshall and President Jefferson are both great leaders in American history.However,during their tenures in the Federal government,they had conflicts all the time,especially in"Marbury v.Madison",impeachment of Justice Chase and"United States v.Burr".Historians often based on their personal preferences to evaluate both of them.In his "A Complete Biography of Thomas Jefferson",the famous historian Liu Zuochang discusses the Marshall-Jefferson conlicts,and expresses his admiration and homage to Jefferson.Through analyzing his remarks and narratives,this thesis tries to evaluate their conflicts more objectively.更多还原
