【Abstract】 Peroxidases are enzymes which use various peroxides as electron acceptors to catalyse a number of oxidative reactions.They are involved in important physiological and developmental processes in living or-ganisms.Peroxidases genes constitute a multi gene family,whose genomic diversity achieved through differ-ences in gene content and allelic polymorphism.In recent years,there is an urgent need for a professional platform for exchange of peroxidase information,with the development of research and application of peroxi-dases.PeroxiBase contains all identified peroxidase-encoding sequences.PeroxiBase provides a series of bioinformatics tools and facilities suitable for analyzing these stored sequences.The database offers life sci-ence researchers a free information platform to share,use and develop peroxidase resources.PeroxiBase plays an important role in research and application of peroxidases.更多还原
