【Abstract】 Topoisomerase IIα(topo IIα) is not only a proliferation marker of tumor cells but also a target for anthracycline-based chemotherapy.In vitro studies have shown that there is relationship between topo IIα expression level and chemosensitivity to anthracyclines.However there are several controversies on the role of topo IIα in predicting sensitivity to anthracycline-based chemotherapy for breast cancer in clinical studies.We aim to give a review of the research advances on the association between topo IIα with other related biomarkers and the sensitivity of anthracycline-based chemotherapy in breast cancer patients.更多还原
