【Abstract】 Controversies exist in the dichotomy,hierarchies and semantic construal of Chinese double-object construction.Through the analysis of its verbal profiling,the paper classifies Chinese double-object construction into three types,i.e.,"theme-prior-profiling double-object construction","patient-prior-profiling double-object construction",and "gestalt-profiling double-object construction",respectively.The three types of constructions correspond to three types of event structures,two of which are complicated events containing two sub-events,and one of which designates a simple event.更多还原
