【摘要】 惯用语是语言建筑材料不可分割的组成部分,它是形式上相对固定、意义上整体化了的词组,其内部结构关系大体上可分为支配关系和修饰关系。它们的组合符合人们对语言本质的一般认识:一方面,惯用语形式与意义的关系是任意的、约定俗成的或社会规约的结果;另一方面,其形式与意义的关系并非完全任意的,需要在植根于历史文化背景中寻找。通过分析惯用语的内部结构、表义关系和功能作用,进一步讨论了语言学界关于理据性和规约性这一古老而又时髦的命题,回答了在心理属性和社会属性之间存在的对立统一关系。更多还原

【Abstract】 Idiomatic expressions are integral components of language.They are phrases relatively fixed in forms and integrated in meaning.In terms of internal structures,the semantic relationship falls largely into domination or modification.Though idiomatic expressions are arbitrary and conventional,their formation can often be traced back to historical or cultural origins.As an idiomatic expression is understood in its entirety,its meaning is much different from the face value of componential words.By analyzing the structures,meanings and functions of idiomatic expressions,the authors explored the relationship between motivation and convention,a century-old topic which is still debated today,and highlighted the unity and opposition between mental and social attributes.更多还原
