【Abstract】 Based on the theories of lexical chunk,short-term memory and learning autonomy,this paper explores the feasibility and efficacy of lexical chunk memory strategy for the improvement of English listening competence through contrast experiment and questionnaire.The findings from the statistical analysis of experimental data and the student questionnaire indicate that lexical chunk memory strategy is significantly correlated to the development of students’ listening competence and it can effectively enhance students’ listening competence.In addition,the experiment also gives some helpful enlightenment to English listening teaching.更多还原
