【Abstract】 The translationally controlled tumour protein(TCTP) is a highly conserved protein and appears to be widely expressed in all eukaryotic organisms.TCTP is a multifunctional protein,including many cellular processes,e.g.cytoskeleton regulation,cell growth and proliferation,apoptosis,tumor reversion,cell differentiation,inflammatory response and protection of cells against various stress conditions.TCTP is also a transcription factor for pluripotency genes Oct4 and Nanog.This review focuses on TCTP expression regulation and its biological functions.更多还原
