【Abstract】 The three successive Kings in Southern-Tang dynasty all had faith in Buddhism.They were Buddhists,and all laid strong political and economical support for Buddhism,and took actions to establish temples for monks,granted honors and titles to famous monks,and organized learned monks to translate original Buddhist sutras into Chinese.Zen school in Southern-Tang had a variety of activities,such as learned monks talked about Buddhism with the kings,the Zen masters recruited their new disciples and gave lectures to the public,monks traveled from place to place to leaned more about Buddhism,etc.,thus promoted the spread of Zen Buddhist culture and improved the meditation method in self-cultivation.更多还原
