【Abstract】 Based on the idea "three-dimension transformation" of the theory Approach to Translation as Adaptation and Selection,this thesis explores translation compensation of public signs in terms of linguistic compensation,cultural compensation and communicative compensation to remedy and reduce translation losses in semantic meanings,cultural information,and communicative intentions plus functions.Three-dimension translation compensation of public signs work together to improve translation quality so as to fulfill the most effective communication.更多还原
