【Abstract】 Based on the discourse,the English cloze test is an important question type which is set to test the examinees’ abilities of constructing discourse schema and using the knowledge of words and phrases. The arrangement of the English cloze question type of Mainland and Taiwan not only contains the common characteristics but also contains each other’ styles. The English cloze test in college entrance examination of Mainland and Taiwan has made great efforts to test the examinees’ abilities of using language comprehensively and has showed the principles and the development orientation of English examination.更多还原
