【摘要】 论文对华侨华人民间文献的定义、种类、特点、价值等方面做了初步的探讨。认为华侨华人民间文献是中国历史文献的重要组成部分,具有世界性、多样性、分散性和延续性的特点,并具有历史凭证价值、学术研究价值、思想教育价值和文化传承等多重研究和利用价值。目前除了侨批、侨乡族谱、公馆档案等进行了有序的收集整理外,绝大多数的华侨华人民间文献散落在私人或非官方组织手上。对华侨华人民间文献进行系统的收集整理和开发利用十分必要。更多还原

【Abstract】 The author of this article has made an attempt to define,classify,characterize,and assess non-governmental overseas Chinese documents.She asserts that non-governmental Overseas Chinese documents constitute an important part of Chinese historical literature.With the features of worldwide existence,diverse formats,discrete distribution,and frequent continuity,non-governmental Overseas Chinese documents possess important values as evidences that witness history,research objects for scholarly studies,teaching materials for ideological education,and cultural heritage that can be passed on to future generations.Currently except for the oversea Chinese remittance notes of Chaozhou-Shantou areas,the Gong Guan archives of Batavia,and the genealogies of qiaoxiang that have been collected and sorted out in an orderly manner,the vast majority of non-governmental overseas Chinese documents remain in the holdings of private individuals or non-government organizations.The article calls for immediate attention to be given to gleaning,organizing,and utilizing these materials.更多还原
