【摘要】 美国现行大学治理体制中的四个主要参与方——校董、学术领袖、教授和学生各有其优势和弱点,"共享的治理"的成功取决于上述四方的互信与合作。美国现行大学治理体制运行正常,没有对其进行系统性变革的必要。但这种"共享的治理"也存在一些亟待改进与完善之处,如有必要改善校董的遴选方式,吸引最受尊敬和负责任的教授参与治理,在学术领袖和教授之间建立起一种更加相互信任与携手合作的和谐关系等等。更多还原

【Abstract】 The four principal participants in the current American system of university governance,namely,trustees,academic leaders,professors and students each have their own advantages and weaknesses respectively.The success of "shared governance" depends on the mutual trust and cooperation of the above four participants.The prevailing system of university governance in America is now operating rather smoothly and there is no need so far to carry out any kind of systematic reforms on this system.However,this system of "shared governance" needs to be adjusted and improved.For example,the ways in which trustees are selected need to be improved,the professors who are most respected by their colleagues and who are most responsible human beings need to be attracted to participate in university governance,and a more harmonic relationship of mutual trust and cooperation needs to be established between academic leaders and professors.更多还原
