The survey,as well as observation in daily communication,tells that the urban young women tend to use children’s way of pronouncing,word choosing,and sentence making and thus some characteristics develops in terms of phonetics,vocabulary,and grammar.The carton,or childlike,features in their language have made a linguistic variation.Furthermore,the carton-style language is spreading widely.
