【Abstract】 This paper devises an efficient method to detect wormhole attacks on the ad-hoc routing protocols.It first attempts to pinpoint suspicious links that may be part of a wormhole tunnel.Then,a proper wormhole detection mechanism is applied to suspicious links by means of an exchange of encrypted probing packets between the endpoints of the wormhole.The proposed mechanism is an easy-to-deploy solution: it does not require any time synchronization or node location information,and does not require any complex computation or special hardware supports,and just uses a simple four-way handshaking messages exchange to detect wormhole attack.The performance of this approach shows high detection rate under various scenarios.更多还原
