【Abstract】 The theory of Bold Hypothesis and Careful Demonstration proposed by Hu Shi has been well known and commented favorably and unfavorably by different people.This scholarly research method contains certain rationality,significance of thought and the academic value.However,its function and influence should not be exaggerated because of its contradiction and limitations.Hu Shi made it popular by sloganeering but this may easily caused misunderstanding and abuses.更多还原
