【Abstract】 Some of the main difficulties faced in distance education is analysised and the main characteristics of VRML virtual reality technology is introduced.As Engineering Graphics and mechanical principles courses for example,the concrete application of VRML virtual reality technology in distance education and learning resource development are demonstrated.The key technologies of developing the distance education resources based on VRML virtual reality are introduced in the end.The key technologies include system framework design,the construction method of the virtual model and realization technologies of interactive animator.Practice has proved that VRML virtual reality technology rich the remote teaching resources,enhance the effect of distance education.更多还原
