纯铅搅拌摩擦焊接轴肩温度变化规律研究
Study on temperature distributions within the shoulder during friction stir welding of pure lead
【摘要】 在使用空心主轴和空心搅拌工具的搅拌摩擦焊接物理模拟装置上进行了纯铅搅拌摩擦焊接,并且利用红外热成像仪记录轴肩的实时温度演变过程。研究表明在搅拌摩擦焊接过程中轴肩温度的变化具有周期性。在轴肩与工件接触的搅拌阶段,轴肩一端的温度始终高于轴肩另一端,即搅拌摩擦焊接过程中轴肩可分为高温端和低温端;轴肩上的峰值温度始终处于高温端并随搅拌工具的旋转而旋转,并且峰值温度随着搅拌头的旋转在每个周期内呈现出由低到高再降低的波峰式波动。轴肩温度周期性现象的出现是由于轴肩高温端周期性的搬运变形金属造成的。
【Abstract】 Friction stir welding(FSW) is made on pure lead plate using a special designed friction stir welding simulator,which has hollow welding tool and hollow spindle.Using the infrared thermograph and the simulator records the temperature variation of the shoulder.Results indicate that the temperature variation of the shoulder is periodicity in the stirring stage.The distribution of the peak temperature of shoulder is basically constant in the shoulder and the peak temperature rotates with the tool.The value of the peak temperature of shoulder presents the wave crest fluctuation in each cycle.The author argues that the periodicity phenomenon is closely related to the plastic flow of the metal.
