【Abstract】 This study set out to explore a new approach to facilitating academic exchange among distance ELT tutors.Based on findings from a survey among some ELT tutors,the author constructed an online Community of Practice(CoP) and proposed a Multi-subject In-depth Interaction Model for the online CoP.It is argued that the online CoP is conducive to distance ELT tutors’ professional development.Suggestions were made on how to make the best of the online CoP with the aim of sharing information and experiences as well as learning from each other online.更多还原
