【Abstract】 There is no exaggeration that moral sense ran through Peter H.L.Chang’s legendary life.Those events he engaged himself in,which had significant impact on the modern Chinese history,were closely related to his moral sense.With it,he persuade his father to cease fire for the people’s interests;he resolutely changed flags and mediated among the armed forces for China’s unification;he resigned and sent Chiang Kai Shek back to Nanjing,disregarding his own honor or disgrace;he launched the Xi’an Incident for the sake of the whole country;and he gave up his personal freedom as an interpretation of human dignity.In short,Peter H.L Chang devoted his whole life and sacrificed his personal freedom to manifest what righteousness meant,thus leading to his incredible moral life.更多还原
