【摘要】 大连是港口城市,国际贸易业和海运业相当发达,因此对商务英语人才的需求也相对强劲。经过对区域和行业特征的分析和调查,发现大连地区对商务英语人才的知识和能力结构的需求有以下几个特点。从人才层次角度看,对商务英语本科的需求高于其它层次;从人才的知识和能力角度看,对国际贸易实务知识的重视程度较其它知识高;对国际航运和物流方面知识的需求呈上升趋势;对毕业生二外的需求也有别于其它地区-主要是日语。此外,对毕业生的外语能力要求也由以往的读写转向口译。这些信号值得外语教育工作者引起重视。更多还原

【Abstract】 Dalian,a seaport city with distinctive regional features,is developing fast in foreign trade and shipping industry.So,it has a big demand for business English personnel.Through an investigation on features of the region and its industries,the author comes up with suggestions for requirements of knowledge & ability structure of students in Business English Major in the Dalian area.From the angle of requirements for personnel levels,graduates holding bachelor’s degrees are more needed;while from the angle of the structure of knowledge & ability,the knowledge about foreign trade practice is better required,and the knowledge about international shipping and logistics is increasingly paid attention to.Graduates in the Dalian area are more required to master Japanese as the second foreign language than in other areas,and their speaking skill is taken more into account than their reading and writing skills.All the above findings will draw attention from foreign language educators so as to adjust their teaching objectives.更多还原
