主流文学的消解与颠覆——论二战后美国少数族裔成长小说的冒现与繁荣
Dissolving and Subverting of American Main-stream Literature——The Occurrence and Prosperity of American Minority Initiation Novels after the World War Ⅱ
【摘要】 美国主流文学始终占据美国文学的统治地位,二战后,美国社会经济和政治的变革使美国文学呈现多元化发展趋势。这一时期涌现出一批杰出的少数族裔成长小说家,包括黑人、亚裔以及犹太裔作家。他们的代表作以不同的生活经历和文化背景从不同的视角审视族裔青少年的成长及文化身份认同,重新界定了美国族裔特色,在美国成长小说发展史上占有举足轻重的地位。
【Abstract】 Although American main-stream literature occupies the dominating position for a long time,the great economical and political changes after the World War II make American literature present diversified developing tendency.In this period,lots of outstanding minority initiation novelists appear,including African-American,Asian and Jewish writers.Their representative works depict the minority adolescents’ growth and cultural identity on the basis of their special perspectives of life experience and cultural background.Their novels redefine the characteristics of American minority,occupying crucial position in the development of American initiation stories.
