便携式X荧光仪在研究矿化顺序中的应用
Application of Portable XRF Technology for Hand Specimen Scale Geochemical Imaging and Identification of Sequences of Mineralization
【摘要】 采用便携式X荧光仪对采自金顶铅锌矿床的矿化灰岩角砾岩手标本进行测点分析,形成了手标本尺度多元素高密度地球化学图像,对所得样品2元素地球化学图像进行了多元主成分分析,获得了分别以Zn、Pb和Zn+Pb为主的3个最大主成分。通过分析主成分所对应的相关元素组合(元素载荷)以及组合元素空间分布,结合对Zn、Pb对钙质交代的观察初步确定:该样品所反映出的矿石矿化顺序是后期以Pb为主的矿化穿插(交代),前期以Zn为主的矿化,两期矿化在相交部位叠加。此结论与由传统方法、根据显微镜下观察得出的结论能很好地吻合。
【Abstract】 Portable X-ray fluorescence spectrum(PXRF) was used to hand specimen collected from Jin-ding Pb/Zn mineral deposit in Yunnan,Southwestern China.Geochemical images were created based on the concentration values analyzed using PXRF on polished sample surfaces.We carried out multiple principle component analysis(PCA) to the two-element geochemical images of hand specimen,and obtained three principle components which are Zn,Pb,and Zn+Pb,respectively.Through analyzing the corresponding related elemental associations and their spatial distributions of principle components and combined with the observation of replacement of Ca by Zn and Pb,we consider that the metalloenic sequence represented by the hand specimen is that earlier Zn mineralization was followed by later Pb mineralization,and the two episodes of mineralization were superimposed at the crossing area.This conclusion is in agreement with the observation of mineral assemblages under microscope.The study has demonstrated that PXRF is convenient,effective and practical for identifying mineralization on hand specimen,and can provide supports for rapidly identifying mineralization and analyzing geological(elemental) evolution processes.
