【Abstract】 Melissa officinalis L.,as a well-known herb of Labiatae,has a very high value of health care and pharmaceutical applications.In recent years,studies have shown that its oil have effect of sedative,carminative,antispasmodic,antibacterial,antiviral,antifungal,anti-inflammatory,antioxidant and improve glucose tolerance level.Today,it has been widely used in different industrial sectors in many countries of the world(such as pharmaceuticals,perfumes,cosmetics,and food,et al.).Based on the extensive literature retrieving,the active ingredient,pharmacological function and application of Melissa officinalis L.essential oil were summarized in the article,which will provide basis for further development and application.更多还原
